Less than a week til SummerSlam and Raw fails to bring heat to anyone. You'd think WWE would learn to use their time a little wiser. At this point, I feel like it would be more productive to let Heyman cut promos for the entire roster and give everyone the night off.
Paul Heyman is one of the greatest personalities in the world of wrestling. He's an important asset to any company he's working for. If it wasn't for him, I don't think I would have made it through Raw this week. Not only has he convinced me Brock has a shot at the title at SummerSlam, but I barely even cringed when he brought up the Undertaker loss at Wrestlemania.
The lackluster performance from Stephanie this week was a major disappointment. My expectations for this woman are always high, as they should be. She's the princess of wrestling. Shitty script or not, there's no excuse. The fake love affair between Daniel Bryan and his physical therapist is unbelievable. Who came up with that and why didn't anyone slap THEM!? Brie is not a good enough actress to sell it even if it were true. In the end, McMahon gets her revenge. Brie is arrested for slapping her husbands new love interest.
nWo for life! I loved seeing all these sexy old men in the ring. Hulk Hogan celebrated his 61st birthday with Rick Flair, Paul Orndorff, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall. The party was so rudely interrupted by the Lesnar-Heyman team. Before anything interesting could happen, Cena runs into the ring to save the day. Brock fled the scene saving the real fight for SummerSlam.
