The Return of King Kendrick! Kendrick Spits a Crazy Freestyle on Hot97, Drops a New Single, and more.

The rap beast is back at it again and he’s coming strong and fast. Kendrick Lamar shook the game up with his verse on Big Sean’s "Control" back in August of last year. It heated things up as he proclaimed himself “the best” and almost begged for competition, calling out several of the game’s current top dogs, ie: J Cole, Wale, Meek Mill and Drake. Many rappers responded, but none of the ones he named.

In a nasty Hot 97.1 FM freestyle with Funk Master Flex on September 18, the "B---h Don’t Kill My Vibe" rapper went in. In one half of his freestyle, listeners re-visited the fire of the same undefeatable, hungry energy Kendrick gave us on "Control."
Kendrick rapped:
I’m sparring with a dragon, he tried to throw a flame but I ducked and then I stabbed him. Came out the battle laughing. That’s a metaphor for any rapper who want it, I smack ‘em til they nose running..
The Compton rapper has been fairly under the radar since the release of his controversial verse on Control, but I think we all knew he was cooking up his next pot of gold! Not much of Kendrick’s perspective has changed (as you can see from the lyrics above) concerning what spot he solidifies when it comes to rap—and that’s the top spot. He’s still welcoming or daring rather, any rap guy to try him. However in a recent interview with Big Boy, Kendrick says that hip-hop is a sport, it’s all love between him and the guys. He even mentioned and that he respects them all as people and creators.
Kendrick also dedicated some bars of his Hot 97 freestyle to story-telling in which he recalls some Compton tales, mentioning his dad’s disquiet of him staying out the streets and of course his Uncle Tony is referenced —“Comprehending well and could smell the soberness evaporating by itself he said Tony my biggest fear is to hear Kendrick disappeared in a fire out here and I didn’t help.”
Five days after the freestyle aired he dropped his first single since his debut album Good Kid m.A.A.d City. The track is titled “i” with a reoccurring line “I love Myself”. Leave it Kendrick to force us to address the real ish. He delves into the idea that it’s impossible to love outside if we don’t love ourselves. He does this with uncountable bars graced by a beat you wouldn’t automatically tie to a hip-hop tune. There is speed then there’s rest, drums and horns. It makes you want to dance and think at the same time. Tough tune. But what did we really expect. He’s Kendrick.
True to his Compton roots he finds a way to incorporate an uplifting message for his home town into his cover art for the single. He put a crip and a blood forming a heart sign together instead of a gang sign—another way to spark conversation and change.
Instagram: @KendrickLamar

You can expect his new project to be 100% K.Dot. In an interview with AMP Radio he revealed that he has been making it a point to minimize his musical influence while he’s creating. He wants to go in and organically lay down tracks that have not been impressed by the expectations of outsiders.
I guess we'll have to stay tune for more from King Kendrick!

Lil' Kim Puts Her Spin On Bobby Schmurda’s ‘Hot N*gga’ Track

Photo Credit: Lil’ Kim’s Instagram (@lilkimthequeenbee)

After recently giving birth, rapper Lil’ Kim seems to be on the prowl! She’s returned from the creases of motherhood and now you can’t tell this little firecracker NOTHING, as she swoops back into the Hip Hop game.

The female MC was arguably the greatest thing to ever happen to her era of music from the mid 1990s, to the early 2000s. Similar to some of the greatest female Hip Hop artists of all times like Foxy Brown, Missy Elliot and Lauryn Hill, Lil’ Kim has always been known to stand her ground, whether or not it cost her her claim to fame.

With all the excitement going on in the industry today from Nicki Minaj’s latest musical releases, to Remy Ma’s prison release, we have yet to see what Lil’ Kim is really bringing to the table in this era of Hip Hop besides diss tracks, since she’s been on maternity leave.

The Queen Bee recently released two diss records targeting her rap rival, Nicki Minaj in less than a week of each other. First she remixed Beyoncè and Nicki Minaj’s “Flawless Remix” and days later, she shaded Nicki once again by accusing the YMCMB rapper of swagger-jacking her style in her new single “Identify Theft.”

In addition to the cut-throat disses she threw down on these tracks, Lil’ Kim hinted that she would soon have something in store that would leave everyone on the edge of their seats!

From the looks of it, Lil’ Kim seems to be cooking up some bars in the kitchen. She’s looking to take her flow back to her hardcore/uncut “Junior M.A.F.I.A” days; and her latest release just might do it.

Kim has been very consistent with her music releases this past week, and she just decided to add one more to her portfolio—a remix to Bobby Schmurda’s “Hot N*gga.” The “Crush On You” rapper chose to give her shady bars a break for this particular song and instead gives a couple of shoutouts; most notably to Philly rapper Meek Mill who was recently jailed back in July for a probation violation.

Listen to Kim’s flow as she gives you a "taste of a storm," that is soon to come on her new track “Hot N*gga Remix” here.

Lil Kim DISSES Nicki Minaj on a BRAND NEW "Flawless" Remix!

So literally about a DAY after Beyoncé dropped her new remix to "Flawless" featuring Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim has dropped her own verse, and didn't have many nice things to say. It appears as if she was taking shots at SOMEONE, and by the subliminals she threw, it sure as hell sounds like she's talking about NICKI!

Take a look at the link below, to listen to Kim's verse on the new remix! Who do YOU think Kimmie is dissin?

Beyoncé Gives Her Take On The Elevatorgate Fight Between Solange & Jay Z On The "Flawless (Remix)"

Surprise, surprise! Beyoncé fans literally woke up and got flawless — the "Flawless (Remix)" that is. Queen Bey must have a fascination with releasing exciting, new projects in the middle of the night because a little after 1:00 am on August 3 is when she posted the remix to this pretty girl anthem featuring raptress Nicki Minaj on to her website. Mrs. Carter's alter ego Sasha Fierce totally made an appearance to set fire to this track as Bey turned her original sweet and seductive sound into a bars of a blunt,high-heel walking boss. Beyoncé was so confident on this track that even she addressed the elevatorgate scandal  — when a video surveillance camera recording of Beyoncè's sister Solange attacking her husband Jay Z at the Standard Hotel the night of the Met Gala leaked online and was published by TMZ.

Beyoncé sings:

"We escalate, up in this b-tch like elevators/ Of course sometimes sh-t go down/ When it’s a billion dollars on an elevator/ Of course sometimes sh-t go down/ When it’s a billion dollars on an elevator."

Teaming up with an out-of-the-box artist like Nicki Minaj gave Beyoncé a chance to get out of her comfort zone and let the critics know that she's has problems just like you but the difference is she's high up on the salary totem pole. This lethal record comes at a good time since various reports have surfaced of The Carters allegedly being on the verge of a divorce. As of now, both Solange and Beyoncè have individually addressed the incident outside of the press release that their management teams released after the story broke. The only person left for us to hear from is Jay Z. I'm curious to hear his side of the story in a track just as hard as Bey's "Flawless (Remix)" release.

#MusicMondays: Remy Ma Teams Up With DJ Khaled For Her First Post-Prison Single — 'They Don't Love You No More (Remix)'

She's backkk! Remy Ma wasted no time getting back into the swang of things after being released from from her six year prison stay at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility on August 1. The "Wutevea" rapper raced back into the studio to lay down some bars the evening of the same day she was released to work with super-producer DJ Khaled on a remix to his hit track "They Don't Love You No More."

Remy may have been gone for a minute but now she's back and 'bout to jump off. The raptress completely dominates this track by letting everyone know she's back to reclaim her throne and she's holding no prisoners.

Remy spits this hot fire in the first verse of the track:

"When y’all was on the TV, I was with the PV’s./ I listened to your CD, damn, you really wanna be me./ Don't care if your name buzzin’, you know who the queen be./ Dello Russo, di you lasik bitches still can't see me/ These rap chicks try to stay away from me./ Maybe ‘cause I caught that case, they afraid of me./ Remy got that flow, spit it crazily/ And it’s a fact I’m everything they portray to be."

It seems to me that Remy is not going to make it easy for these female MCs anymore. It's about time this hip hop game turn up!

Check out Remy on the "They Don't Love You No More (Remix)" here.

She's BACK! Remy Ma is FINALLY a free woman, after 6 years of incarceration!

(Via the official Remy Ma Instagram; @therealremyma)

Remy was due to leave jail yesterday, but unfortunately, she was stuck in the slammer for about another week, according to recent reports. Turns out she had some issues last week, which withheld her from being released. Everything that was announced via reports all over the Internet and radio, were,"she will be out real soon." No one bothered to reach out to her family to inform them that she would be kept in there longer, as her husband Papoose, along with friends, family, and a camera crew, awaited outside the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility yesterday, for her homecoming.

Earlier on Hot97, DJ Enuff announced that Remy Ma is in fact, a free woman as of today!

You can find quotes from previous phone interviews she's done while in jail in my archive, one in particular is an interview she did was Angie Martinez, not too long ago.

It's slightly disappointing to see there's no "beef" with Nicki Minaj, as I was really looking forward to seeing a TRUE hip hop queen, put a mainstream "artist," right in her place! But according to Remy, it's all love...

DJ Enuff stated that Remy called his cell phone; and I'm sure we are ALL curious to hear about some of the first things she'll be doing, now that she's on the streets of New York! So, according to Enuff, Remy was on the Saw Mill Parkway, and the first thing she wanted to do was go home, take a shower, and get her hair done.

Okay, we don't care about all that stuff. Get back behind the mic and let's see what you got Remy! Show us that you're about your business and prove to us that you're going to be "back like you never left!"

Remy Ma's Prison Release Date Delayed Due To A Disciplinary Issue

remyhomes1

Image Credit: Remy Ma's Instagram (therealremyma)

By this time we would have thought we would be screaming "REMY'S BACK," but unfortunately our premature notions of Remy Ma's prison release have fallen through. The former first lady of Terror Squad was originally set to be released from her prison sentence early on July 31 because of good behavior but the tables shockingly turned during her last week's stay. Hot 97's chief news correspondent Miss Info took to her blog the day Remy was supposed to be released to spill the details on the retraction of the rapper's correctional facility.

Miss Info reported:

"Remy Ma was expected to walk out of the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility today at 8am. She’s spent past 6 years in prison after being convicted of shooting a former friend in 2008. Her husband Papoose, managers, family members, friends, fans and camera crews stood outside for hours waiting for the 34-year old Reminisce Smith, with an assortment of fancy cars to take her home. But according to sources on the scene, around noon, prison officials came out and spoke to Papoose personally, and soon after, he and his crew left. In a strong show of restraint, Papoose was reportedly calm despite the news. While it’s unclear why her release has hit a roadblock (parole officials would only confirm to Revolt that she’s still in custody), we were told that Remy Ma spent what was supposed to be the last week of her incarceration in solitary confinement."

In addition to Miss Info's report, Diddy's rising music network REVOLT TV spoke to an official at the correctional facility who inform them that the disciplinary problem Remy was involved in occurred on July 21. This also happens to be the same date that Remy Ma phoned into Power 105.1's radio personality Angie Martinez's show for a brief chat.

"An official at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility informed REVOLT that Remy Ma was involved in a disciplinary problem on July 21.That date also happens to be the same day the Bronx-bred lyricist phoned into Power 105 personality Angie Martinez's radio show, although officials haven't confirmed if that was the reason for her delayed release, only citing "a third party call" being an issue."

Whatever the issue seems to be, we hope it gets cleared up soon. Remy is going to have to keep a low-profile until she is actually released in an effort to avoid any further delays to her freedom. In the meantime, all we can do is wait and hope for the best.

The Return of Remy Ma Upon Her Release From Six Years Behind Bars

remy-ma-prison-release
These female MCs are about to be in trouble because the First Lady of Terror Squad is coming home! With a majority of female rappers conforming to the ideal and clean-cut image of mainstream Hip Hop today, it's exciting to see a woman that lyrical went against the norm from the jump getting back into the game again. After being sentenced to prison back in 2008 on two counts of assault after a shooting altercation, Remy Ma has served six of her eight year sentence and is expected to be released from prison on July 31.
The Bronx native recently called-in to speak with Power 105's own Angie Martinez on July 21 about her plans to focus on her career upon her release, gradually maturing in prison, and her marriage to rapper Papoose while behind bars. Remy sounded joyful during the phone interview and is excited about all the projects she is about to get into which will be filmed in an upcoming reality show.
Remy told Angie Martinez:
"I grew up a lot, like I look at things differently. Looking back and looking at everything else, I was able to see a lot of things. I was really crazy. You get to see from when you're stuck in one spot and you can't just go as you please and do things as you please…it's the simple things, you can't take a shower when you want to. You can't make something to eat when you want, you can't wear your hair how you want."
In regards to Remy's music career, currently the only real competition she would have is Nicki Minaj. Seeing as how Nicki has been holding a steady spot as a female at the top of the Hip Hop charts for the past couple of years, she would definitely be one of Remy's major competitors. Instead of having animosity towards the rapper for her recent success, Remy has nothing but love for Miss Minaj and wishes more female rappers would come out of their comfort zone to take over the game as well.
"Nick has always been a supporter. I love what she's done, she's done wonderful things for females but…I just wish there was more of them . I don't know what they're doing, they're letting these guys take over."
At this point in time, it's looking like nothing but positive vibes and good times for the Grammy-nominated artist upon her release from prison. The "Conceited" rapper has some high expectations to live up to in the next couple of months but she seems to be ready to take on the fire.
It's about time somebody comes and shakes things up in this Hip Hop game! Welcome home Remy Ma! Your fans welcome you back with open arms.

G-G-G-G-G-UNIT has been working on one hell of a comeback after their reunion at Hot 97.1 FM's Summer Jam 2014, and now with their new single "Come Up." On July 28, "The Breakfast Club's" very own DJ Envy premiered the group's new track.
The "Come Up" features the group's fan favorites - 50 centLloyd BanksTony Yayo, and Kidd Kidd - schooling haters while dropping bars on the instrumental of the Gap Band's track "Outstanding."  The rags-to-riches inspired track professes the crew's drive to run more than just the streets and rather continue on their grind to achieve their dreams.

French Montana & Khloe Kardashian Dish Details Of Their Exciting New Relationship To Power 105.1's Angie Martinez

The first lady of Hip Hop radio has done it again! Angie Martinez is truly "The Voice of New York" as she snagged the most talked about couple beside Kimye for their first joint interview. The Power 105.1 FM host sat down with rising rapper French Montana and his reality star beaut Khloe Kardashian on July 24 and let them dish on everything from their sex life to addressing critics who question the sincerity of their relationship.
After the horrific public breakup with her husband, basketball player Lamar Odom, it seemed to be difficult for Khloe to jump back into the dating game - but it now seems as though she has met her match. French told Angie that Diddy was to blame for their budding relationship as he introduced them during a drunken night in the studio and they've been kicking it ever since.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star expressed the love she has for French letting Angie in on the rapper's sense of humor as well as the more sensitive side that fans don't necessarily get to see.
He is probably one of the funniest people I have ever met in my life. In my life. You cannot stop laughing, like crying laughing.People definitely don't see the great parts about him too...but there's also a different side of him which he keeps more private as he should...He can be a softie sometimes.
It has only been less than a month after their red carpet debut as a couple at Khloe's 30th birthday party and their already comfortable enough to dish out their raunchy sex life to the media. Although French observing Ramadan has put a bit of a hinder on their sexual activities, Khloe supports her man's by helping him as he restrains from food, drink, smoking, and sex until after sundown each day during the Muslim holiday.
Of course with such a high-profile relationship comes critics, but Khloe has got a word or two for the haters who pride off of biting off other's happiness.
People are gonna comment no matter what. If I dated the most clean-cut perfect guy, they're gonna comment. That's just the way it is. If I'm having fun and if I like this kid, no one else should care, they're not f--king him, (laughs) or maybe they are, I don't know.
French responded to to his lady's statement with his "haaaaaaaaaaaa" signature and agreed to just let the haters hate while him and Khloe keep busy just doing them.

Angie Martinez Moves Up The Dial To Take The Power 105.1 Mic For The First Time

Image Credit: Angie Martinez's Instagram (angiemartinez)

'The Voice of New York' has officially readjusted her radio dial to her new home at New York's rising Hip Hop and R&B station Power 105.1 FM. Legendary radio personality, Angie Martinez, is back on the mic keeping it real with the city as she kicked off her first day on the air in her2pm to 6pm time slot on July 17.

The former Hot 97.1 FM voice-jockey shook fans by surprise when she announced  back in June that she would be resigning from the station after being a huge contributor to the success of Hot 97 for over 15 years. Just a day after she resigned from Hot 97, Angie announced that she would be taking her talents to the rival station by joining their powerhouse lineup. With there being a long-history of competition between Hot 97 and Power 105, Angie's decision to join the Power 105 team was met by many opinions and critiques.

Despite what critics had to say, Angie stands strongly by her decision which she views as the next phase in her life. When the Extra correspondent sat down with Power 105's hit morning show The Breakfast Club on June 24, she held nothing back when she told the trio exactly why she made the drastic station change.

"This company offers so much opportunity for growth, and I want to be on in different cities. I wanted to grow, I wanted to be able to have new challenges, see new things... It was time."

Angie Martinez celebrated her new found glory by posting this photo of  her new radio home just minutes before going on air.

10547107_1440290669590045_1035201059_a

Angie's Instagram caption read:

Feels like the first day of school! Going live in 15 mins on @power1051#Day1

Angie kicked off her first day at Power 105 with one hell of a start. Besides spinning hits after hits, the radio personality received well wishing calls from Hip Hop game changers like DiddyAlicia Keys, and Jay Z  just to name a few.

Power 105 and the Clear Channel Media family seem to be a great fit for Angie. And as she settles down at her transitioning station, we hope that she'll continue to bring New York (and now The Beat 103.5 Miami) nothing but the best.

RIP to the Angie Martinez Show. Angie resigns from Hot 97!

(Angie Martinez, Miss Info, and myself at Beacon Theatre NYC, for the the Tribecca Film Festival with Nas, "Time Is Illmatic.")

It's a sad day for hip hop lovers in the NJ/NYC tri state area. Earlier today, Hot97 was posting on social media to tune in for a "big announcement." Angie Martinez, "the voice of New York," announced that she is resigning from Hot97. Minutes later, Ang posted THIS Instagram, Twitter & Facebook.

No word on who her replacement will be. However, there are rumors stating that Angie will be going to New Yorks OTHER hip hop radio station, Power 105. After Angie posted her resignation on Twitter, the OFFICIAL Power 105 Twitter account, replied to her tweet with a smiley face!

Listening to The Angie Martinez Show earlier today, I could definitely hear how emotional everyone was, especially DJ Enuff, who was crying PRETTY badly. Ang has been part of the Hot97 family for over 20 years!

It should be interesting to see how this plays out. I really can't see Angie working at Power 105. Since she starred on VH1 reality show "This Is Hot97," I'm sure she (amongst others that were on the show) have received some TV offers.

RIP to The Angie Martinez Show. That radio station will not be the same, and as far as a replacement for her show, there simply can be NO replacement.

Hip Hop IS Dead! Summer Jam recap:: Nas, 50 Cent, Drake, Nicki Minaj, & more.

I was going to attend Hot97 Summer Jam this year, as I've went the past 3 years & haven't really been disappointed. I ALMOST had tickets last minute, but unfortuneately, I got stuck home live streaming the concert. I sure am glad I didn't waste my hard earned money on this concert....

Sevyn Streeter opened up the main show following the "festival stage" pre show. I really like her, & maybe it's because she's never really performed in front of that many people in the NYC area, but I found her performance to be slightly boring.

Things got even worse as Rosenberg got on stage & hyped up Action Bronson, who was a complete mess. Not sure what kinda drugs he was on, or how much he had to drink, but his ego appeared to be bigger then his gut. He was all over the place, between slurring, looking & sounding like shit, rocking a pair of sandles to later on, take them off and hop off stage to perform in the crowd. This guy literally wouldn't stop his performance, until he was told to stop. It seems as if he was trying to take over the show, and it appears as if he thought he was some kind of "big star." Absolutely horrific.

I'm really not sure who exactly was next, either Troy Ave or Wiz Khalifa. Not really much of a fan of either 2, but Troy started out with what appeared to be, taking shots at Trinidad James, via a video of the jumbotron before he performed. Troy Ave did bring out T.I. as a surprise guest. Wiz Khalifa topped off his set with a surprise appearance from none other then the legendary SNOOP DOGG! Snoop surprised the crowd & performed "The Next Episode," followed by "Young, Wild and Free" with Wiz.

The Roots followed up after Khalifa's set, if I'm not mistaken. First, they brought out none other then one of my personal favorite hip hop groups EVER, The Lox! The show in my opinion was majority pretty bad, until they came out & performed some of their classic joints. M.O.P. and Black Sheep were amongst The Roots other surprise guests. The crowd, however, didn't really seem to be interested much. But I'll get back to THAT part later.....

Trey Songs was up next, & as usual, drove the girls crazy. He ended his set with his surprise guest, Ty Dolla Sign & performed "Paranoid" together, following Trey shouting out his incarcerated friend, Chris Brown, & performed Brown's new hit song, "Loyal."

HIP HOP IS DEAD!

Nas came out next, and again, the crowd wasn't in it at all. He performed mostly songs from Illmatic. No energy what so ever. To make matters even worse, Nas brought out Meek Mill, followed by French Montana to completely take over his set. The crowd LOVED every minute of it & seemed to have livened up quite a bit. Very, very sad day for hip hop. Complete smack in the face & a HUGE amount of disrespect to Nas. I'm not sure who's idea this was, but Nas seemed to have no problems with it, as he was really into Meeks "lyrics," by singing along. Maybe it was all the Hennessey Nasir drank throughout the night, but never could I see this man,(who is the TRUE DEFINITION of REAL HIP HOP) actually respect and allow these guys ON STAGE WITH HIM. This literally hurt me. It was very sad to watch, however it made me very happy once again, that I didn't spend money to be there & actually witness this in person.

After Meek & French finished their set, Nas brought out 50 Cent. 50 performed a couple classics as well as some new joints from his new album that dropped yesterday, Animal Ambition. He reunited G-Unit ON STAGE, bringing out Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and even Young Buck. He later on brought out Fabolous & performed their new remix to Fabs hit song, Cuffin Season. As this was happening, a little rowdiness appeared to be going on. It turns out there was some sort of a fight, which later was reported that Slowbucks, of SBOE, was robbed of his chain. A member of 50's security reportedly snuffed Slow, ripped off his chain, and 50 WORE IT the rest of the night! It seems as if 50 was trying to prolong his set, as he mentioned on the mic that Ebro (Hot97's executive producer) was "yelling at" him, only for 50 to reply saying that HE'S the boss when he's here! Whole lotta drama.

Video footage of what went down can be seen here: http://youtu.be/lXwZy1VH4DM

Nicki Minaj was next, and I thought the LAST part of the concert. She put on a great performance, as she promised the crowd. She brought out Soulja Boy to perform their new single "Yass Bitch," then later brought out another surprise guest, as I would've bet my life that he was going to show up, none other then Drake. She got on the mic & said, "Drake, I don't fuck wit you no more!" He then came out to perform "Worst Behavior," as the crowd livened up a lot more! Nicki & Drake went on to perform their song featuring Lil Wayne,"Believe Me." Weezy came out for his verse, wearing a stupid face cover up, which he took off after a couple of seconds. Drake & Weezy also performed "Trophies." Their set ended with Nicki, Lil Wayne and Drake ALL sweating each other. Nicki Minaj even stated that "Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive!" LOL!!
This is where the show should've ended....

DJ Mustard followed Young Money's set & brought out a few guests. YG, Ty Dolla Sign & surprise guest, none other then YOUNG JEEZY performed their hit, "My Ni**a."

At this point, I began to lose a little bit of interest, as I feel the show ran way too long, & was a bit all over the place. The show could've been put together a little bit better. Also, the sound system seemed to be an issue throughout the night, which pissed off a couple of the performers.

You can find some YouTube videos from the concert, here; http://www.complex.com/music/2014/06/summer-jam-2014-performances

Summer Jam has always been one of my favorite concerts to attend. You don't really seem to get much from other concerts put on by other radio stations. I think Hot97 has the MOST respect from a lot of artists, & others involved in the hip hop industry, and this is why Summer Jam is always a SPECIAL SHOW to me! It's always hard to top each year. This year was GOOD but it didn't beat last years SJ, that's for sure.

New York City radio station, Hot 97, scores it's own VH1 reality show

New York City's number one hip hop radio station, has landed their own reality show! On March 31st, "This is Hot 97" will premiere on VH1.

Check out the preview here.

I was SHOCKED to hear this today, but it was long overdue! Most of reality TV, especially on VH1, is based and filmed here in the New York/New Jersey area. Not only can Hot97 be heard WORLDWIDE, listeners can now see the radio station TELEVISED across the world!

It is becoming more and more noticeable, that New York really is the birth of real hip hop. This is GREAT for New York hip hop artists, and those involved in the industry. I'm sure the ratings will be through the roof!

Look out for all your favorite Hot97 radio personalities and DJs to be on the show, such as Angie Martinez, Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, Cipha Sounds, Funkmaster Flex, Drewski, DJ Enuff, and more!
