Kanye West Gives An Epic Weekend To Remember!

Yeezus has done it again! An eventful-filled weekend accompanied by his performances were nothing less than phenomenal.

We all know of how wild Power 106, Powerhouse events can get, but Yeezy expectedly set the tone for headliners to come.

From the moment he entered the stage, the crowd roared with an energy that would welcome any artist.

While matriculating through his set, he woed viewers with some mystery bars that are said to come from his latest album SWISH over his infamous heartless track.

Needless to say Kanye left it all on the stage that night, but then again he always does--- especially at the 2015 Billboard Awards!

The artist rallied up that same amount of energy, if not more, shortly after being introduced by the two Jenner Sisters Kylie & Kendall.

During his adrenaline-filled performance, two of his hit songs All-day and Black Skinhead were heard.

Unfortunately during the scheduled 5 minute set, Ye only performed 4:16 seconds of that due to extreme censorship.

According to Today.com, some fans were left devastated and others allegedly booed the Grammy winning artist.

For once Kanye wasn't the blame for any confusion, but Pitchfork.com did state that he expressed his concerns about the ongoing issues of unwarranted censorship.

Nonetheless, Kanye still managed to come out on top and give the people something else to talk about in the tabloids. With a strong finish to an impeccable weekend, in the words of his fans out there "All Hail YEEZUS, All Hail!"

Kanye West Opens Up To GQ Magazine About Fatherhood, The Paparazzi, & A New Album In The Works

Kanye West is a man of his word and his dreams. The rapper recently sat down with GQ Magazine just ten days after his extravagant wedding in Florence, Italy to his fiancĂ©e, the world renown reality star Kim Kardashian. With all the good that's been happening in his life lately like becoming a father to his adorable baby girl North West and his breakthrough in the fashion industry with his  A.P.C. capsule collection in addition to his Adidas line which is coming this fall, all that ranting Mr. West did while on the Yeezus tour must have paid off.

Being a rap legend at just 37-years-old is in no way an easy job. But Ye fully acknowledges his stance in society and knows that it's difficult to stay at the number one spot. Shockingly, he even confessed to knowing that he is no longer the most popular dude in the rap game.

"Currently that spot is taken. Let's be honest—he got last summer. Who?  You know. There's only one person. Drake? Yeah. He got last summer. And I'd never given it up till last summer."

Kanye even took the time to open up about his love - hate relationship with the paparazzi and how his every move somehow always ends up being in the spotlight.

"My goal is just to be respected as a man when I walk down the street with my family. I don't care what your job is, you're not gonna talk down to me, you're not gonna try to get a rise out of me. I'm a man first. And in establishing that, some interesting things have happened. [laughs] It's difficult. And then put on top of that the idea of going and taking meetings with people, and people say, "We don't want to work with you, because we saw you get mad about running into the sign.'"

The rapper went on compare himself to a blowfish when handling incidents like when he was caught on video by TMZ walking into a stop sign trying to run away from all the chaos of the cameras.

"I'm not a shark, I'm a blowfish. So that perfect example about me hitting my head, it's like a blowfish. I wasn't coming out of my house going to a paparazzi's house to attack them. I'm defending my family in front of my own house. I'm defending my name as someone's screaming something negative at me. That's a blowfish. People have me pinned as a shark or a predator in some way, and in no way am I that. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone. I want to defend people. I want to help people."

After clarifying that his rumored 45 minute wedding toast was not a rant just to praise himself,  he told GQ that he looks to redefine how morden day celebrities are portrayed in the media. One thing that's for sure is Yeezy loves his daughter North unconditionally and does not want her to endure the slander and pain that he and Kim have taken on as A-list stars.

"And what I talked about in it was the idea of celebrity, and celebrities being treated like blacks were in the '60s, having no rights, and the fact that people can slander your name. I said that in the toast. And I had to say this in a position where I, from the art world, am marrying Kim. And how we're going to fight to raise the respect level for celebrities so that my daughter can live a more normal life. She didn't choose to be a celebrity. But she is. So I'm going to fight to make sure she has a better life. . . One of the things that I said at the speech was, anyone that's at this table has had to defend me or Kim or both of us at some point in their life. Ask a boxer: "In the third round, when he hit you from the side on your ear, how did that specifically feel?" You wouldn't ask a boxer that. Because you know they're there to fight. Meaning now you know I'm here to fight. I'm here to fight for the re-education of what celebrity is. To say, 'Yes, we are celebrities, but yes, we're also innovators, we're also inventors, we're also thoughtful.'"

Great things are in store for Mr. West in the future. He even told GQ that there's an album on the way and his newest single just might be a pop culture hit. But  of course, being the creative genius that he i he has not fully decided on committing this new genre yet.
