Hip Hop great, Common, recently spoke with Dharmic X of WNYU's #NW3Radio to discuss his latest ventures and deep knowledge of having hustle and flow within the Hip Hop game. Beside discussing his Nobody's Smiling track "Rewind That" and the passing of his good friend, rapper James "J Dilla" Yancey, the Chicago native also shed some light on the possibility of doing a collaborative project/album with fellow rapper Nas.

Common told Dharmic X:

"I would love too, man. Nas is one of the coldest, so I would love to and I’mma put it out there that at some point Nas and I will do a project together."

"The 6th Sense" rapper also revealed a little fun fact about a run-in he had with rapper Jay Z.

"One thing I do remember is one time it was not even a packed house and Jay Z was at the show and we was performing for like only one-fourth of a crowd, but Jay Z he stayed there pretty much the whole show. And it was like an honor to have him there. And this is like mid-90s right when he was coming up too, like ’97."

Common is just an all around good guy. By staying humble in addition to collaborating with legends like Nas, he's got a good chance to stay true to his sound while adding some extreme mainstream media play to his lineup.
