Lesnar Destroys Ringside Staff, Sting Talks Mania, and NXT Stars Debut

Stephanie can sleep a little better at night knowing Brock won't be taking out her roster/crew anytime soon. Brock Lesnar is suspended indefinitely for going ape shit and attacking everyone he could get his hands on. After Rollins backs out of their rematch and barely escapes the ring, Brock takes out J&J Security and Michael Cole with an F5.

Stephanie runs to the ring to save an innocent camera man but she's too late. F5's for everyone! Meanwhile, JBL and Booker lay lifeless under a demolished announcers table. This is what wrestling should look like.
I'm glad WWE has finally come up with a good enough storyline to explain why Brock is never around. Steph does a great job treating him like a bad puppy that won't stop pissing on the carpet. There's no doubt about Brock being a great competitor but you can tell he doesn't want any part of this. Send him back to UFC. I've called this for months. Rollins needed a devious plan to snatch the belt off The Beast and Mania was the perfect place to do it.

As for the rest of Raw, it was an OK show. Not a word about Undertaker but Sting gets to come out and talk about losing. The Diva's are finally getting some time in the ring. Neville and Kalisto debut. Shemus returns with a fucked up mohawk. And we get a chance to watch the same matches we will see repeated for the rest of the month.

WWE Monday Night Raw: The Announcement and Stone Cold Podcast

Hunter and Stephanie come out to open the show with an announcement about the Wrestlemania title match. It's revealed that the winner of tonight's main event will compete for a shot at Brock. Later in the evening, Daniel Bryan pins Seth Rollins with help from Reigns. Smart move. While Bryan is a strong competitor, he plays fair. Reigns won't have to worry about The Authority interfering at FastLane.

After Raw, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin sat down with Triple H for a long awaited interview. After they get past the boring stuff, Austin hits him with the real questions. Should Chyna go into the HOF? Hunter answers, "Does she deserve to...absolutely!" YES! If you ask me, Chyna's adult film career just makes her a bigger asset to WWE. I never got into the Divas like I did Chyna. She was a "real" wrestler, winning the "real" belts, not a pretty face and fake tits. It's sad that young girls don't have a female to look up to that can get in the ring and beat the boys. Granted, the fact that Chyna is now an escort should be kept a secret. If I ever have a daughter I'd much rather have her idolize someone like Chyna than any of the bimbos on Total Divas.

Austin also brought up CM Punk which Hunter responds with "Never say never" and that he's not holding a grudge. HHH has nothing but nice things to say about everyone thrown at him. From DX to NXT, Michael Hayes, Lesnar and Heyman, Scott Hall, Eddie Guerrero, Owen Hart, even Taker. It was a great interview. #StoneColdPodcast is trending for a reason.

#CancelWWENetwork and A Raw Snow Day, Rumble Recap and More

Don't feel bad for our snowed in superstars. By the looks of it, they all enjoyed their Monday night off. JBL braves the "Blizzard of 2015" to bring us a weather report from the top of WWE HQ in Stamford, Connecticut while the rest of the announcing team stays inside to deliver interviews and repeats of Sunday's Main Events. I'm not complaining. It gives me the opportunityto focus on details I missed watching The Rumble the first time around.

Brock's stupid Jimmy John's shorts piss me off more than Kane's dress slacks. He missed half the match, at least half of the Raws, and he still keeps the belt. Could he really give it up to Roman Reigns after fans threaten to boycott the network? Assuming his injury is real, Brock will have plenty of time to heal up before this intense match up at Wrestlemania.

The Rumble match was disappointing to say the least. I wouldn't even mention it if it wasn't for Bubba Ray. If you can't see why #CancelWWENetwork is happening you need to open your eyes! The fans are so unhappy that even The Rock got booed. According to TIME Magazine, "The network appears to have all but backfired as disappointing subscribtion numbers sent stock prices tumbling and lead to large-scale layoffs." Vince needs to make some game-changing plays before he runs the company into the ground.

Raw is Jericho, SuperSmackDown, Tribute to the Troops and more

What a start to WWE week! Following TLC, Monday Night Raw opened to this week's GM, Y2J, announcing the night's 2 HUGE main events. A fan picked street fight with none other than Jericho, himself, and big mouthed Paul Heyman. Followed by rematch of Cena vs Rollins in a steel cage. The street fight couldn't even start before Brock Lesnar laid Jericho out with an F-5. No one expected any physical activity from Heyman. He may have put on some ring gear but that wasn't fooling anyone. I guess Brock feels the need to make up for lost time because he comes out during the steel cage match to remind Cena what he's in for at the Royal Rumble. Rollins hit Cena with a Curb Stomp and exits the cage.

USA Network switched up our regular schedules with a SuperSmackDown Live on Tuesday night. Raw gave us a taste of Roman Reigns but SmackDown showed Fandango what Reigns was really capable of doing. Rowan flies off the top to win the 6 man tag. The Ascension's vignette left me so confused. Did The Road Warriors find the fountain of youth? I don't know who has an easier job, Nikki or Kane. Ziggler nails a Zig-Zag for the win. That's what Rollins gets for talking too much.

The 12th annual Tribute to the Troops airs tonight at 8pm. Promised to be the most patriotic and heart-warming show of the holiday season, WWE brings together the best of sports entertainment and pop culture. The Tribute will chronicle the Superstar's 2 day trip to Fort Benning, a performance by multi-platinum recording artists, Florida Georgia Line, special messages from a long list of celebrities, and I'm sure a few mediocre matches for good measure.

WWE Monday Night Raw, Kansas City Recap: No Place to Run, No Place to Hide. The Cell Is No Ordinary Scenario.

Mick Foley returns to Monday Night Raw to visit an old friend, the steel structure, and to share some advice with the ex-members of The Sheild. Apparently, everyone had something to say last night. There wasn't much wrestling happening. If you blinked, you would have missed a match or two. Not that I'm complaining. I'd rather listen to Paul Heyman than have to watch a longer, boring Diva's match.

We were doing so well not mentioning Brock Lesnar the last couple weeks. As Hunter gives his pep talk for Hell in a Cell, he announces the winner of Cena's Orton will take on Lesnar for the World Heavy Weight Title. He also promises the PPV will be a good show. "Being in the cell changes your life. Make The Authority proud." Heyman comes out a little later to interrupt a scuffle between Superstars. Cena threatens Heyman with an Attitude Adjustment, then chickens out. Orton delivers an RKO to both men leaving them out cold.

Raw's main event was a 3 on 2 handicap street fight which ended in the steel cage. Chairs, tables, kendo sticks, even the cage became a weapon. Orton hits Ambrose with an RKO for the win just to endure a curb stomp from his friend, Seth Rollins.

I couldn't believe my eyes as Foley waddles down the ramp. Seeing that beard in the ring gave me goosebumps. Foley returns to Raw to educate these naive rivals!!! Rollins and Ambrose are not ready for Hell in a Cell. Somebody is going to get seriously injured! You don't win in the cage, you survive the cage.

"The scars you will not heal from, the scars that will haunt you for a lifetime are the emotional wounds that will not heal."

HAVE A NICE DAY!

WWE Monday Night Raw Recap; Monday September 29th, 2014

Monday night Raw was live from Chicago. Home of my favorite wrestlers, CM PUNK and Colt Cabana. As much as I loved the PUNK chants, seeing the people from OneHourTees with the giant Colt Cabana head ringside made my night. It was almost as good as the real thing.

There's not much I can complain about this week. It was a solid show full of some of the best one liners I've ever heard on Raw. "You wouldn't understand cause you're ugly!" from the The Miz has to be my favorite. The Big Show screaming at Rusev, "WE DON'TSPEAK RUSSIAN!" and Goldust with "Science-fact" are a close second.

Hulk Hogan made a special appearance for breast cancer awareness. I'm glad they're putting him on TV. He deserves to make back some of the money he lost to his cunt of an ex-wife. Bring him on every week! Better yet, throw out JBL and make Hogan a permanent commentator, Brother.

Why is everyone complaining about Orton vs Cena? First off, its Cena and Ambrose vs Orton and Rollings. Secondly, this is fucking amazing! Never in a million years would I have thought I'd see Cena get curb stomped! They're really beating the shit of this guy. Brock had his chance now it's time for The Authority to finish him. Highly unlikely but it's worth a shot.

WWE & TNA RECAP: T.G.I.F. with Matt Dawgs; Week In Review

WWE NEWS AND NOTES:

- Panic is going to start settling in soon as WWE announced on Saturday that Roman Reigns had to undergo emergency surgery to repair a hernia and will be out of action for a few months. This is NOT something they want right now but it could be for the better being that Daniel Bryan is injured and now Reigns with both CM Punk and Chris Jericho gone it will force WWE to elevate others when they normally wouldn’t have. Reigns injury is someone else’s gain; likely Dean Ambrose’s.
- Seth Rollins at the PPV was in classic heel 101 mode by saying that “Emergency surgery is no excuse for missing a match” to Roman Reigns was SOLID GOLD.

- Another big week for WWE has passed as they presented their “Night of Champions PPV” on Sunday and RAW on Monday that saw a change in direction from where they were heading a few weeks ago. For some unknown reason, Vince McMahon decided that at 6:40 pm ET, approximately an hour and 20 minutes before showtime that he wanted ALL OF RAW re-written. A lot of what you saw on RAW was also being written and changed while the show was on the air. WOW.

- RAW’s OPENING SEGMENT was a throwback to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin days when Austin would just go nuts and do things. Ambrose holding the show hostage was actually something Austin first did which included him sitting in the ring drinking beers while waiting for Vince McMahon to come out. Good stuff.

Night Of Champions and Monday Night Raw Recap

Brock Lesnar sucks and when he wrestles Cena again at next months PPV he's still going to suck. I'm glad he got curb stomped. It makes me like Seth Rollins so much more. Seeing he's everywhere, that's not a bad thing. Lesnar's lack of passion really bothers me. Even when Punk hated WWE he was still passionate about wrestling. I don't get Brock. SEND HIM BACK! Sunday night also marked the start of the Dust Bros. reign. Deserving of the tag team title, they wear heel well.

As for Raw, any night i get to see the Miz's ass crack is a good night. While we're on the subject of ass, Seth Rollins butt in those leather pants. Omg, swoon. The athlete's clothes have been catching my attention a lot lately. Any one notice that Kane wears dress slacks?
Lunatic Dean Ambrose makes for exciting wrestling. He's bat shit crazy and I like it. Coming out of the box during the main event was hysterical . Who came up with that! The weirdos earned the spotlight. Let them shine! John Cena/Dean Ambrose vs. Rollins/Orton/Kane is just what I needed. Milk it for as long as you can, WWE. Long time rivalries all the way around will create some good story lines. Let's see what happens next week.
PS. I did not like that jab at Dusty Rhodes the announcers made. Oldust is not funny.

WWE Monday Night Raw Review: Brock returns, Jericho needs stitches, build to Night of Champions

Every Monday night, I plant my ass in front of my television screen in hopes of getting a glimpse at some good old fashion wrestling. Every Monday night, I am disappointed. My favorite Raws are always the ones right before a PPV. Everyone should be talking about Night of Champions is this Sunday in Nashville. Monday felt like no one even cared.
This is the second week in a row Jericho has had my favorite match of the night. This week was no where near as awesome as last but Jericho did walk away with 5 stitches in his chin. I truly do love Kane, but he's gotta go. That match would have been so much better if Jericho had some real competition. Who's he up against next week, Hornswaggle?

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH JOHN CENA?! Thinking he can talk to Paul Heyman like that? I wasn't expecting that bit to go anywhere. At the begining of the night, I wasn't even expecting Brock to be in the building. (I mean it's not like it's his job or anything.) Watching Cena drag Heyman around by his neck, though, I knew shit was about to go down. I can't wait for Brock to lose on Sunday so I don't have to see his ugly face anymore.

WWE Summerslam and Monday Night Raw Recap

So many awesome things have happened in sports this week.SummerSlam exceeded my expectations. Even Raw was entertaining. By far the most important news is Kevin Steen signing a NXTdeal.
I'm anxiously awaiting his debut. That tubby fucker may be one of my favorite athletes of all time. Steen tells WWEhe's been waiting for this his whole career. I know I've been waiting for this since the moment I saw him in the ROHring.

On to SummerSlam! As expected, the match of the night goes to Brock vsCena. Impressive show from both men. 12 German suplexes! It was like watching a video game. Brock clearly accomplished his goal, he now holds the WWE World Heavyweight title.
Paige takes the Diva's Championship. The next few weeks will be huge for Stars like Bray Wyatt, Ziggler, and Reigns who walked away with victories. My favorite champion of the night has to be Stephanie McMahon. We all saw it coming, Nikki turns on Brie.

Then on Raw, you can't get enough of Paul Heyman. I could watch him talk about anything, even BasicBrockanomics. "Eat, Sleep, Suplex, Repeat." Let's see where this goes. The Ambrose/Rollins feud takes a halt as Ambrose start production on Lockdown. This is the perfect opportunity forZiggler to "deliver the goods." A heart broken Nikki stands up against Brie, heel looks good on her.

Im actually eager to see Smackdownthis week. Rumor has it, more Reigns, more Goldust & Stardust, and more Curb Stomp! When wrestling is good, it's so, so good!
